Chill out with coffee

Forget the heat, a big chill is sweeping the country as iced coffee beverages gain popularity, and the best part is you can make them at home. Iced coffee can be as easy to prepare as iced tea, with the option of creating a personalized coffee concoction using flavored syrups, cold milk, chocolate or spices. Iced Thai Coffee, Espresso-Cocoa Cooler and Cappuccino Smoothie are some of the recipe options offered from Capresso, makers of premium coffee equipment. To make Iced Thai Coffee: Stir together 1 1/2 cups cold espresso or strong coffee, 1 tablespoon sweetened condensed milk and 1 tablespoon brown sugar, plus a dash of cinnamon and ground cloves. Pour into tall glass over ice and add light cream if desired. Makes 1.
